$115,000 In Apple Products Stolen From Mansfield Store

MANSFIELD (CBS) – Police are searching for two men who stole a getaway van and broke into a shopping complex to steal Apple products valued at more than $115,000.

Officers responded to the Mansfield Crossing shopping plaza on October 19 around 10:30 p.m. after the pair broke in and stole a significant amount of merchandise.

The men were wearing dark clothes, masks, gloves, and they used two-way radios.

They pried open the rear door to the building, which led to a common hallway between multiple stores.

Once the men were in the hallway, they cut a hole in the drywall and entered a storage room at the Simply Mac store.

From there, they stole about $115,000 in Apple products.

A nearby business reported a Ford Econoline E-250 van had been stolen. Police believe the van was used in the break-in.

It was recovered on October 24 in Haverhill.

Detectives are working to determine if the incident is connected to similar robberies in the last five years throughout Massachusetts, New Hampshire and Rhode Island.
