Woman Crashes Car Into Quincy Police Cruiser

QUINCY (CBS) -- A Weymouth woman is facing multiple charges after crashing her car into an unmarked police cruiser.

The Quincy detective was waiting at a red light at the intersection of Quincy Shore Drive and Sqanto Road Saturday morning when police say 34-year-old Maria Roldan rear-ended his car. The detective was taken to the hospital and later released.

According to police, Roldan said she was talking on her cell phone and wasn't paying attention.

Roldan has been charged with drug possession, driving under the influence of drugs, negligent driving, failing to stop for a red light, and driving with a suspended license.
