Rob Gronkowski Now Offering Financial Savings Advice

BOSTON (CBS) -- Just when you thought Rob Gronkowski has done everything on and off the football field, the sun rises on a new day.

He's caught an eye-popping amount of touchdowns, hosted party cruises and even been the subject of an erotic novel. He's spiked just about anything and everything he's been able to get his hands on, while also showing off his gentler side.

Now, the Patriots tight end is adding "financial advisor" to his lengthy resume.

We recently learned that Gronkowski hasn't touched of a penny of what he's earned from his paychecks. That money is sitting safely in a savings account, while Gronk has lived off his endorsement money, setting himself up for the future.

With such a savvy savings attitude, Gronk is now hoping to help fans everywhere save their money wisely. He's teamed up with Capital One to share his personal finance tips in a program fittingly called #GRONKonomics. Through his Twitter and Facebook accounts, Gronkowski is filling everyone in on his financial advice.

A few of the tips the 26-year-old lives by include setting "short-term goals" and setting up automatic transfers into a savings account.

Like everything else he does, Gronkowski is pretty fired up about the new venture.

"I'm really excited to be a part of the #GRONKonmics series with Capital One Bank to encourage people to challenge their savings," he said in a release for the new program. "Just like when I'm on the field or in the gym, I find it's important to challenge myself on my financial fitness."

You can pretty much pencil him in for at least one touchdown every Sunday, and then you can count on him to help you balance your checkbook. Is there anything this guy can't do?
