Patriots Injury Report: Cannon, Sheard Both Out vs. Dolphins; Lewis A Game-Time Decision

BOSTON (CBS) -- Once again, the Patriots will be without a pair of contributors on their offensive and defensive lines.

Both tackle Marcus Cannon (toe) and defensive end Jabaal Sheard (ankle) will miss their second straight game when the Patriots host the Miami Dophins on Thursday Night Football. Linebacker Rufus Johnson was also ruled out of the game on Wednesday's injury report.

Four Patriots are listed as questionable for Thursday's tilt: Running backs Brandon Bolden (hamstring) and Dion Lewis (abdomen), wide receiver Keshawn Martin (hamstring) and guard Shaq Mason (knee). All four were limited in Wednesday's walkthrough, and head coach Bill Belichick said Lewis would be a game-time decision.

Belichick also had some fun when talking about the short week of "practice" to get ready for Miami.

"I mean, we didn't really practice this week," he said. "A lot of us could've gotten through practice. My mom probably could've got through practice."

Silly Bill.

Also on the Patriots' injury report, defensive lineman Trey Flowers (knee/shoulder), linebacker Dont'a Hightower (ribs) and guard Josh Kline (shoulder) were full participants on Wednesday and are probable for Thursday's game.

For the Dolphins, corner Brice McCain was limited on Wednesday and is the only player listed as questionable for Thursday night.
