Quincy Couple Linked To Bank Robberies Arrested After Police Chase

BOSTON (CBS) - A couple from Quincy linked to bank robberies up and down the East Coast has now been caught after a police chase in Pennsylvania.

Police arrested Joseph and Jenny Carrier after a high-speed chase that ended on I-95 Monday. The two allegedly hit a bank Monday morning in Delaware and then fled north.

The chase ended when the suspects collided with two police vehicles. No one was injured in the crash.

The 37-year-old married couple known as the "Quincy Bonnie and Clyde" allegedly began their robbery spree in late September.

They're accused of hitting banks in Massachusetts, Florida and Maryland.

Local officials say the two are originally from the Springfield area and had been fighting a heroin addiction.

It's not yet clear where the two will be arraigned.
