New Smart Mug Promises To Keep Coffee Hot For Hours
WESTLAKE VILLAGE, Calif. (CBS) -- Making coffee on the go? Here's a way to make sure it stays hot.
A new smart mug from Ember has a built-in heating system, and coffee drinkers can set the temperature with a dial, or by using an app on their cell phone.
The mug keeps drinks hot at the desired temperature for about two hours on the go, or all day long if the charging coaster is used.
The demand for the temperature adjustable mug appears to be there – Ember has raised nearly three times its $50,000 fundraising goal in just six days.
It won't be available until April 2016, and the retail price tag is $149.
