Patriots Practice Report: Bolden, Martin Limited On Thursday

BOSTON (CBS) -- The New England Patriots' practice report saw two new additions on Thursday, as the team gears up for Sunday's matchup with the New York Jets at Gillette Stadium.

Running back Brandon Bolden and wide receiver Keshawn Martin were both limited on Thursday with hamstring injuries, joining five other Patriots on that side of the practice report. Defensive lineman Trey Flowers (knee/shoulder), linebacker Dont'a Hightower (ribs), guard Josh Kline (shoulder), running back Dion Lewis (abdomen) and wide receiver/special teams captain Matthew Slater (knee) were all limited for the second straight day on Thursday.

Bolden has been a key special teams player for New England this season, while Martin has been a welcome addition to the New England pass attack. In three games with the Patriots, Martin has six receptions (on seven targets) for 95 yards and a touchdown.

All four Patriots who missed Wednesday's session were also absent on Thursday: offensive linemen Marcus Cannon (toe) and Shaq Mason and defensive linemen Rufus Johnson (illness) and Jabaal Sheard (ankle). A second straight absence makes that quartet very unlikely to play Sunday afternoon.

For the Jets, cornerback Buster Skrine was limited on Thursday after concussion kept him out of Wednesday's practice session. Wide receiver Eric Decker (knee) was limited on Thursday after being a full participant on Wednesday. Receiver Brandon Marshall was added to the practice report on Thursday, limited with a calf injury.
