I Could Watch Bartolo Colon Pratfalling On The Way To The Clubhouse All Day

By Matt Dolloff (@mattdolloff)

Bartolo Colon is still a major league baseball pitcher. Not only that, but at times he can still pitch very well. And he's still entertaining as hell to watch.

That's why I can't stop laughing at this hilarious video of the 42-year-old Colon taking a tumble on his way to the clubhouse after Game 2 of the NLCS. He looks like the kind of guy who would go all Chris Farley on the barricades and whatever else he can break and knock over, yet saves himself like only a professional athlete could - and he even saves himself from taking a second fall.

There's something special about watching men who don't look at all athletic by any measure, yet are somehow world-class athletes who make eye-popping plays - Colon is the king of those players. Not only can he still pitch, he can make plays in the field too.

I hope Colon never leaves baseball. When he retires from playing he NEEDS to be a manager. The Mets would do it.
