FOXBOROUGH (CBS) -- After a short stint with the New England Patriots, the team has released cornerback Bradley Fletcher and added defensive back Brandon King to the 53-man roster.
The Patriots announced the moves in a statement Saturday night.
Fletcher, 29, was previously a member of the Philadelphia Eagles before joining the Patriots as a free agent before this season. He played in two of the team's first three games, tallying 10 tackles and forcing one fumble.
King, 22, was signed by the Pats as a rookie free agent out of Auburn. He played safety and defensive end while at Auburn, according to the statement.
