Phantom Gourmet: Farm-To-Table

BOSTON (CBS) - Dan Andelman of the Phantom Gourmet visited some area restaurants that serve food straight from the farm.

The farmers grow it and harvest it. All you have to do is eat it at The Farmhouse restaurant in Needham, where the menu ranges from a beautiful beet salad to a juicy, locally-sourced steak.

The Farmer's Daughter restaurant in Easton isn't just a clever name. The owner of this upscale breakfast and lunch spot really is the daughter of a farmer. And her food reflects her upbringing, with standout dishes like eggs Benedict with butter poached lobster.

Foreign Affairs is an upscale wine bar and bistro in Manchester-By-The-Sea known for using regional, farm-fresh ingredients cooked with a creative global spin.
