Dedham Police Investigate Swastikas Spray-Painted Around Town

DEDHAM (CBS) – Police are investigating after five swastikas were found spray-painted in Dedham Wednesday morning.

Five swastikas were drawn and other comments were written in several neighborhoods around town.

Police do not believe any specific person or family was targeted.

"Swastikas represent hate and bigotry, and we are aggressively pursuing those responsible," Dedham Police Chief Michael d'Entremont said. "We will not tolerate this in our community."

Anyone with information is asked to call Dedham Police.
