Powerball Jackpot Climbs Past $300 Million
BRAINTREE (CBS) -- Start dreaming, lottery players.
The estimated Powerball jackpot for Wednesday night's drawing is up to $301 million. After taxes, the cash option on the prize would net the winner about $191.4 million.
The jackpot is the highest it's been since February, when it soared to $564.1 million.
The $2 tickets can be purchased until 9:45 p.m. on Wednesday.
