Child Falls Out Of Apartment Window In Chelsea
CHELSEA (CBS) – A two-year-old girl suffered serious injuries when she fell out of a third-story window in Chelsea Tuesday night.
She was unresponsive when officials arrived on scene.
It is unclear how the girl fell from the apartment at 216 Revere Beach Parkway. Chelsea Police say the preliminary investigation suggests it was an accident.
She was taken to Mass. General Hospital with serious injuries.
Neighbors say the girl may have fell through a screen.
Annisa Alicea says she would often see the child in the window playing near the screen. "I seen her before when I would walk to the store and walk back from the store she would bang on the window," Alicea says.
