BOSTON (CBS) -- Even though it's only Week 2, the Patriots have a big AFC East matchup with the Buffalo Bills on Sunday.

Here are some stats and fun facts ahead of the matchup:

- This will be the 111th meeting for the Patriots and the Bills. New England holds a 67-42-1 edge in the series.

- The Pats have swept this series 23 times and have won 26 of their last 30 meetings against the Bills.

- Tom Brady is 23-3 all-time against Buffalo, more wins than he has against any other team.

- The Patriots are 67-19 against the AFC East in regular season games since 2001.

- Bill Belichick has a 69-25 all time regular season record against the AFC East as head coach of the Patriots.

- Since 2005, the Pats are a league best 24-10 in September

- Patriots tight end Scott Chandler spent four seasons with the Buffalo Bills before signing with New England in the offseason. He caught four touchdowns in nine games against New England.

- Buffalo Bills Tight End Matthew Mulligan played for the Pats in the 2013 season.

- Tom Brady has 161 wins with the Patriots, the most by any quarterback with one team.

- With four more touchdown passes, Brady will become the fourth member of the 400 touchdown club, joining Peyton Manning, Brett Favre and Dan Marino.

- Stephen Gostkowski has kicked 415 consecutive points after a touchdown. The record is 422 by Matt Stover.

- Rob Gronkowski has caught a touchdown pass in four straight regular season games and seven straight games if you include the post season.

- Gronkowski, an Amherst, New York native, has 58 touchdowns overall, and needs 10 more to become New England's all-time leader in touchdowns scored.

- With 277 career receptions, Julian Edelman just needs 15 more to move into the Top 10 in team history.

- LeGarrette Blount returns this week for the Patriots after serving his one-game suspension in Week 1. He ran all over the Bills in Week 17 of the 2013 season, rushing for 189 yards on 24 carries (an average of 7.9 ypc) and a pair of touchdowns.

- Jerod Mayo only had 11 snaps in the first game against the Steelers

- Since the 2000 the Pats have the best regular season record on the road in the NFL 78-42

- The last time the Buffalo Bill were in the post season was 1999, when Doug Flutie started 15 regular season games.
