BROOKLINE (CBS) -- Expect to see stepped-up security on Tuesday when Brookline rolls out the red carpet for celebrities and stars of the new movie about James "Whitey Bulger."

Brookline police took to social media to let everyone know that the special screening of "Black Mass" at the Coolidge Corner Theatre will be monitored closely by officers.

"Barricades will be deployed in the immediate area of the 'red carpet' activities," the town says. "Officers will be assigned to locations to ensure public safety is maintained for pedestrian movement."
