Suspect Wanted For W. Virginia Murder Arrested At South Shore Plaza

BRAINTREE (CBS) -- A West Virginia man was arrested at South Shore Plaza Friday in connection with a murder in his home state.

West Virginia authorities alerted Braintree Police detectives that Philip D. Casto, 33, of Scott Depot, may be in the area and armed.

Police spotted Casto's car in the parking garage of South Shore Plaza. He was later arrested in the mall.

Casto has been named a person of interest in the murder of Jennifer L. Evans, 27, who was found shot to death in her apartment.
