ROYALTON, Vt. (CBS) -- A Connecticut man in a rush to take care of a speeding ticket now finds himself in even more trouble, according to authorities.

Vermont State Police say they pulled over 33-year-old Seth Tichenor, of West Hartford, after he was clocked driving 112 mph in a 65 mph-zone. Officials say Tichenor was also reportedly weaving in and out of traffic on I-89 north Wednesday afternoon.

Tichenor told officers he was on his way to traffic court to address a speeding ticket.

He was arrested and charged with excessive speed and negligent operation.
