Boston Has Worst Drivers In America, Report Says

BOSTON (CBS) -- It may not come as a great surprise to those who frequently travel in and around the city, but a recent report tabs Boston as having the worst drivers in the country.

In Allstate's "America's Best Driver's" report for 2015, Boston finished at the bottom of the list of 200 cities ranked.

Two other Massachusetts cities were at the bottom as well, with Springfield at 196 and Worcester at 199. Providence was 195.

Worcester finished in last place in 2014.

Meanwhile, Kansas City drivers were recognized as the best nationwide, with Brownsville, Texas finishing as runner-up.

Boise, Idaho, Fort Collins, Colorado, and Cape Coral, Florida rounded out the top five.

Allstate took into consideration average years between accidents and relative accident likelihood compared to the national average.
