Missing Westford Teen Found Safe
WESTFORD (CBS) – A Westford teenager who went missing Wednesday after leaving for a hike was located safe.
Westford police said just after midnight on Friday that 18-year-old Joseph Siriani returned home.
Siriani, the son of a town selectman, had been last seen on Wednesday around 1 p.m. after leaving a note that he would be on a hike and back in a few hours.
He had last been seen in the area of Town Farm Road and East Prescott Street.
State and local police spent much of Thursday looking for Siriani until the search was called off.
"Thank you to all of the agencies and civilians who aided in the search efforts as well as those who called in tips and possible sightings as it led to a positive outcome," Westford Police posted after Siriani safely returned home.
