Man Crashes Car Into Quincy Bay

QUINCY (CBS) -- A driver was taken to the hospital after crashing a car into Quincy Bay early Friday morning.

The crash happened on Quincy Shore Drive around 3:30 a.m.

State Police say the driver then tried to swim out to sea to get away from State Troopers.

Several firefighters were able to get the man out of the water.

He is expected to be OK.

The man has not been identified by police.

The vehicle was pulled from the water and put on a tow truck.

It's unclear if the man will face any charges.
