LeGarrette Blount Returns To Patriots Practice

FOXBORO (CBS) – New England Patriots running back LeGarrette Blount participated fully in training camp on Saturday after reportedly failed his conditioning test earlier in the first week of practices.

Blount was removed from the team's physically unable to perform list on Saturday as the team returned to practice next to Gillette Stadium.

When asked by reporters if he had failed the test, Blount responded that he was ready to go.

"I was out here. The first day of camp I was out here," Blount said.

Blount was questioned about what exactly the team's conditioning test consists of. He kept his answer simple.

"Conditioning," Blount said. "It's a test. It's a conditioning test."

Saturday was the first time the team has practiced in full pads.

Blount said he trained throughout the offseason as he is set to compete for the starting job.

"You want to be there. You want to be there for sure. It's just the process of getting better. You've got to do everything that you have to do to get there and get out to the field and be out there and go through the grind with your teammates."
