Belichick Deflects DeflateGate Questions: 'Read The Transcript'

BOSTON (CBS) -- The Patriots have said all they want to about DeflateGate and Tom Brady's impending four-game suspension, but that doesn't mean the media will stop asking.

But similar to his advice on Wednesday, Bill Belichick has a tip for any reporter who wants him to discuss the matter in more detail: Read the transcript.

Peppered by a handful of DeflateGate and Brady questions on Thursday morning, Belichick pointed to Robert Kraft's harsh comments Wednesday morning, when he said he was wrong to put his faith in the league.

Asked if he agreed with his owner, Belichick was quick to give out some summer reading to the gathered media.

"I think Robert addressed that yesterday," Belichick said, twice. "Go back and read the transcript; you can read what he said and that's what we're going to do."

Asked once again for his thoughts on Brady's suspension, Belichick shot back, "If you go back and read the transcript, he advised everyone in the organization not to talk about it, so we're not going to talk about it."

Belichick isn't concerned about an impeding trip to court for Brady, or even if he'll have his All Pro quarterback in Weeks 1-4. Instead, his focus in on Thursday's practice.

"Right now we're practicing for today. That's all I'm thinking about. I'm not thinking about a month from now, a year from now, 10 years from now, six months from now. I'll leave all that up to you guys and the experts. Just today," said Belichick.

Remember folks, everything at Gillette is taken "day-by-day."
