Hingham-Based UPPAbaby Recalls 71,000 Strollers

HINGHAM (CBS) – A Hingham company is recalling thousands of strollers, saying it could present a choking hazard to children.

UPPAbaby is recalling 2015 Cruz, Vista and RumbleSeat strollers because the foam covering can be removed from the bumper bar when a child bites it.

In total, about 71,000 strollers are being recalled.

No injuries have been reported, but 22 reports of children biting off pieces of the bumper bar foam prompted the recall.

Customers are asked to immediately stop using the bumper bar on the recalled strollers.
