Bomb Threat Forces Evacuation Of Maverick MBTA Station

BOSTON (CBS) – A bomb threat caused delays on the Blue Line Thursday night.

Boston Police received a bomb threat for the Maverick Station after 6 p.m., prompting officers to shut down the station.

All passengers were evacuated from the station and shuttles bused riders from Bowdoin to the Airport station.

No device was found inside Maverick Station.

Police said there were no injuries reported.

The bomb threat impacted the Airport, Maverick, Aquarium, State Street and Bowdoin stops.

Maverick Station opened again for service just before 7 p.m.

No further information on the incident is currently available.
