Shooting, Stabbing At Brockton House Party Leaves 1 Dead
BROCKTON (CBS) -- A Brockton house party turned violent overnight, leaving one dead and two others injured.
Authorities say two men were shot and a third man was stabbed at a party in an apartment on Green Street early Sunday morning.
One of the gunshot victims was later pronounced dead at a local hospital. The two others suffered non-life threatening injuries.
Plymouth County District Attorney Timothy J. Cruz said police received the 911 call for shots fired at 4:30 a.m. on Sunday. Witnesses told police that there was an altercation at the party that spilled onto the street.
