Pet Parade: Broken Tail Rescue In Worcester

WORCESTER (CBS) -- Four dogs with sad stories up for adoption at Broken Tail Rescue in Worcester were featured on Sunday's Pet Parade.

Tilli is a 13-year-old Lhasa Apso mix. Her owner brought her in to be euthanized, but she's not ready to go yet. She's on medication and a special diet, and would be a good fit with a retired owner.

Angus is a 9-month-old all-American Staffordshire Terrier. He was emaciated when saved from a backyard breeder. Angus is recovering from a recent heart surgery and will need ongoing monitoring. He gets along well with kids and other pets.

Star is a 13-year-old Pit Bull Terrier. She is an owner-surrender. She loves to play with other dogs, and would make a great jogging buddy.

Callie is a Lab Pit Bull mix who has been with Broken Tail for over 18 months. She knows a lot of tricks and loves to play. She is not great with other dogs, but is good with children and really wants to please.
