Man Charged With Stabbing Brother At Woburn Apartment Complex

WOBURN (CBS) -- Officials say a 29-year-old Woburn man has been charged with critically injuring his brother in a stabbing at a Woburn apartment complex Thursday morning.

Kosta Vovolis is facing charges of armed assault with intent to murder, assault and battery with a dangerous weapon and domestic assault and battery, according to a statement from the Middlesex District Attorney's office.

Police were called to Cedar Street, where a person was stabbed.

The victim is expected to survive, police said. He was taken to Lahey Clinic in Burlington.

He will be arraigned Friday in Woburn District Court.

The stabbing is being described by police as a domestic incident involving narcotics.
