What To Know About Celtics Draft Pick Terry Rozier

BOSTON (CBS) -- Shortly after Boston drafted Terry Rozier with the 16th overall pick on Thursday night, Celtics color analyst Cedric Maxwell joined 98.5 The Sports Hub and said the team's draft party sounded more like a bird sanctuary.

Filling the Seaport Hotel were hundreds of fans asking "who?" in unison. The 6-2 Louisville point guard wasn't in many conversations regarding the Celtics' first pick leading up to the draft, and was near the bottom of the first round or in the second round on many mock drafts.

So, who is Terry Rozier? Here is what we've been able to round up on one of the newest members of the Boston Celtics:

- Rozier was born March 17, 1994, and is the middle child to Eugenia Tucker and Terry Rozier.

- Though he's known more for his defense, he averaged 17.1 points per game his sophomore season at Louisville. He averaged 12 points over his two years with the Cardinals.

- Was named to the ACC all-rookie team after averaging 8.8 points, 3.2 rebounds and 1.5 steals in conference play as a freshman.

- He hears a voice in his head, but it leads to him making good decisions (sorry this links to a story written by Greg Doyle, who isn't well liked around New England).

- Rozier has an interesting meal of choice. He eats spaghetti in sandwich form, with ranch and sugar. We kid you not. His favorite snack food is honey buns and hot Cheetos.

- His favorite basketball players growing up were Allen Iverson and Dwyane Wade.

- According to his Louisville bio, the person he'd most like to meet is God.

- Rozier was so happy to be drafted on Thursday night, he jumped into a pool with all his clothes on.

- CBS Sports put together a great bio on Rozier if you'd like to learn more about the Celtics guard:
