Celtics @ 7: Is Danny Ainge Eyeing Knicks No. 4 Pick?
BOSTON (CBS) – It was an NBA Draft preview edition of "Celtics @ 7" Saturday on 98.5 The Sports Hub.
Host Adam Kaufman explored the latest rumor from Chris Sheridan that the C's could trade up in the lottery to the No. 4 pick if the Knicks opt to move the selection.
Celts Director of Player Personnel Austin Ainge joined the show in the second segment to discuss Thursday's draft, Boston's strategies and philosophies, stories from the war room, when trades make sense, and much more.
Doc Rivers also made headlines this week when the former Celtics coach and now Clippers coach and President of Basketball Operations commented on how much further along his franchise might be if not for long-time owner Donald Sterling's meddling in trades.
Kaufman believes Rivers is simply failing to accept responsibility for his poor work as GM.
