BOSTON (CBS) - Rachel Dolezal, the former head of the NAACP in Spokane, Washington, officially announced her resignation today amid criticisms of racial fraud. Rachel's own parents recently outed her as a white woman who was pretending to be black. The media has predictably shown plenty of outrage over this story, and not many have stepped up to defend Dolezal's actions. But that got Dan thinking about another case of false heritage claims and the reaction in the media. Cornell professor William Jacobson joins NightSide to compare the two cases and the way they were covered.
