Braintree Father Arrested In NYC After Allegedly Fleeing With Son

BRAINTREE (CBS) – A Braintree father accused of taking his three-year-old son has been arrested in New York City.

Braintree Police say Raisul Kalam assaulted his son's caretaker and took the boy on a bus to Manhattan.

Kalam is now in custody.

Detectives drove the boy's mother to New York to pick up her son.
