Salem, NH, Police Arrest Alleged Drunk Driver Following Crash

SALEM, N.H. (CBS) -- An alleged drunk driver is under arrest in Salem, N.H., after the car he was driving struck another vehicle Sunday night.

The crash occurred at the intersection of Route 111 and Ermer Rd shortly after 6:30p.m.

According to police, Ramon Suero, 49, of North Andover, Mass., was attempting to cross over Route 111 eastbound when he was hit by another car. Two people, including a 13-year-old girl riding in Suero's car, were taken to the hospital with minor injuries.

 

Police say a breath test determined Suero was more than three times the legal limit.

Suero was released on $10,000 bail. He will be arraigned on June 10.
