Chris Mckinnon Promoted To Co-Anchor Of WBZ This Morning & WBZ News At Noon

BOSTON – WBZ-TV News announced that Chris McKinnon will join Kathryn Hauser as a co-anchor of WBZ This Morning and WBZ News at Noon. McKinnon's promotion was announced today by Gary LaPlante, News Director at CBS Boston's WBZ-TV and myTV38.

"We are thrilled that Chris will be assuming the role as the co-anchor of WBZ This Morning with Kathryn Hauser. His warm personality and local knowledge, having grown up in the greater Boston area, make him a perfect fit for the morning news audience."

McKinnon, a native of Melrose, first joined the station as a reporter in September. He previously worked at KWTV in Oklahoma City and began his career at KREX-TV in Grand Junction, Colorado. McKinnon is a graduate of the University of Southern California and currently resides in Boston.
