2 Men Charged In Shooting Of Boston Snow Shoveler In Court

BOSTON (AP) — Two suspects charged in connection with the shooting of a man shoveling snow as part of a work crew in Boston in February face arraignment on first-degree murder charges.

Donte Henley and Josiah Zachery are scheduled to be arraigned Monday in Suffolk Superior Court in connection with the Feb. 11 shooting of Kenneth Lamour.

Lamour was part of a crew organized by an organization that works with at-risk youth shoveling snow in the city's Jamaica Plain neighborhood when he was shot.

Prosecutors say Zachery pulled the trigger, but Henley, who was also with the snow-shoveling crew, ordered the hit. Zachery is also charged with shooting at a police officer who gave chase after Lamour's slaying.

Lawyers for both suspects have said their clients had nothing to do with Lamour's shooting.
