BROCKTON (CBS) – A teen was killed in a huge brawl after a basketball game in Brockton Wednesday evening, according to the mayor.

Brockton Mayor Bill Carpenter told WBZ-TV there have been no arrests, but a warrant has been issued for suspect.

Police said the large fight broke out between several dozen teens at the James Edgar Park around 6:30 p.m.

Three people were stabbed.  One of the three, 18-year-old Ywron Martins, later died at the hospital.

An arrest warrant for 24-year-old Anildo Lopes Correia, AKA "Ace" of Brockton for murder was obtained Thursday night. Correia has not yet been taken into custody

There was an increased police presence at the park Thursday night.

"Police and the Motorcycle patrols had already been stepped up as I was informed there were some issues in the neighborhood last week and despite the increase we still had this tragic event," Brockton city councilor Thomas Monahan said in a statement on Facebook.

"We brought back the park last year and had no problems and we are going to keep it safe despite (Wednesday's) events."
