Woman Accused Of Spitting On, Assaulting MBTA Bus Driver

BOSTON (CBS) – Transit police are asking the public to help identify a woman accused of spitting on an MBTA bus driver.

Police released a picture of a woman who is a suspect in an April 1 incident.

According to police, the woman spit on the driver of a Route 41 bus near the intersection of Columbia Road and Annabel Street.

The woman then allegedly assaulted the driver before leaving in an unknown direction.

Police describe the suspect as a black woman with red highlights in her hair. At the time of the incident, she was wearing a pink North Face jacket, black leggings and white sneakers.
