Brookline Police Warn Of Serial Flasher

BROOKLINE (CBS) -- Brookline police are warning women about a serial flasher.

Police say that since January, they've received six reports of a man exposing himself to women on the street.

The incidents all occurred in the north Brookline area, around Babcock, Pleasant, Freeman and James streets. Two were reported on Jan. 5, one on Jan. 20 and three on Sunday.

The flasher is described as a white man in his mid-20s, with brown/blonde hair, 5 feet, 10 inches tall, a thin build and wearing glasses.

No women have been physically assaulted in the incidents, which have occurred from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. Police said they've stepped up patrols in the area.

"We are reminding people to be alert, pay attention to your surroundings and always report anything suspicious," police said.
