Pelham, N.H., Police Release Dashboard Video Of Alleged DUI Crash
PELHAM, N.H. (CBS) – Pelham police released dashboard camera footage from a cruiser that caught a Pelham DUI suspect crashing and driving away before eventually being arrested.
Gary Cormier, 49, of Pelham, was arrested around 3 a.m. on March 29 after an officer saw his truck driving on Main Street towards a roundabout.
Dashboard camera footage released on Friday shows Cormier's truck drive onto the median and crash through street signs.
One of the signs was sent flying through the air.
Cormier continued driving until he was stopped a short distance from the scene of the original crash.
Police said the truck had three flat tires when it stopped.

After speaking with Cormier, who said he had fallen asleep at the wheel, police arrested him for driving under the influence of alcohol and conduct after an accident.
"The dash camera footage from (Officer Michael Kasiske's) police cruiser showed that Cormier did not even make any attempt to stop," Pelham police said. "Cormier was very lucky that there were no cars traveling through the roundabout at the time and no one was injured as a result of his impaired driving."
