Report: Eagles Hosting Quarterback Tim Tebow For A Workout

BOSTON (CBS) -  Maybe Chip Kelly really is crazy.

The personnel decisions of the Philadelphia Eagles head coach over the last week has certainly raised some eyebrows, which include trading for quarterback Sam Bradford and cutting bait with running back LeSean McCoy.

But none of those moves compare to what could potentially be on the horizon for Philly, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter.

Tim Tebow . . . remember him?

The former NFL quarterback has worked in the media since the launch of the SEC Network, but remains firm in his desire to be a signal caller in the league once more, and he'll get that chance with Chip Kelly during his workout.

Tim Tebow was drafted by the Denver Broncos in the first round of the 2010 NFL Draft (#25 overall), but also spent time in New York with the Jets and in New England with the Patriots.

If Philadelphia signs Tebow, has Chip Kelly gone off the deep end?

UPDATE:

That was quick!
