Lumber Liquidators Will Pay For Air Tests For Concerned Customers

BOSTON (CBS) – Lumber Liquidators says it will pay for the safety testing of its laminate floors.

Earlier this month, 60 Minutes reported the company's flooring made in China contains high levels of formaldehyde, a known carcinogen.

Lumber Liquidators says customers can receive an indoor air testing kit and the company may pay to re-install flooring if necessary.

The company said consumers can call its customer care line at 1-800-366-4204 to request a kit. Consumers can also use an online form or email llcustomerrelations@lumberliquidators.com to get the kits.
