NightSide - The 3,786 Day Vigil And Counting

BOSTON (CBS) - Back in 2004, the St. Frances X. Cabrini Scituate parish received a letter from Cardinal O'Malley that stated the church was one of eighty-five that would be closed during a period of restructuring. But the parishioners have been standing strong in support of their house of worship, maintaining a vigil that has now lasted for more than ten years. The Catholic Church has threatened to pursue legal action if the parishioners don't leave by the end of the day today, but the group says they have no intention of giving up now. Attorney Mary Elizabeth Carmody is representing the group, and she sits down with Dan to talk about the issue and potential solutions.

Originally broadcast March 9th, 2015.
