Daily Talker: Should Scituate Church Be Closed?

BOSTON (CBS) - The fight over a Scituate church is heating up.

The Boston Archdiocese is giving parishioners until Monday to vacate St. Francis Cabrini church or face legal action.

Since the archdiocese ordered the church's closure in 2004, parishioners have kept an around-the-clock vigil inside the church.

They stay overnight in pairs and hold services on Sundays, even without a priest.

The archdiocese says the group has lost all of its appeals to The Vatican and it's time to go.

But, parishioners say they won't go and are prepared to go to court over it.

The parishioners say the Archdiocese only wants to close the church and its 30 acres for financial reasons.

What do you think?

Should the church be closed?

Do parishioners have a right to stay there?
