Zolak & Bertrand: Bills Win Offseason Super Bowl Once Again

BOSTON (CBS) - It's too bad that Super Bowls aren't played in March and April. Otherwise Jim Kelly would have four rings.

The Buffalo Bills traded linebacker Kiko Alonso on Tuesday for Eagles running back LeSean McCoy, the league's third best rusher in 2014.

It's easy to poke fun at the lowly Bills and their new head coach Rex Ryan, but all kidding aside, 98.5 The Sports Hub's Scott Zolak and Marc Bertrand both agree Buffalo got better yesterday as a result of the transaction.

"You just got a guy that is more dynamic than C.J. Spiller. Rex is going to rebuild that defense. Today is your day Bills Mafia. Miami, you're starting to become irrelevant in the division. It's become a New England-Buffalo division. The Jets will be there and compete and all that. But Buffalo has given themselves a chance to be really good. They were 9-7 with that clown Chuck Marrone last year," said Zolak, referring to Doug Marrone. "The Bills are back baby."

Beetle likes the move for Buffalo, but not as much as Zolak.

"The Bills have established themselves, for now, as the second best team in the division. But you want to say that the Bills are back because of LeSean McCoy? Like they're right in the mix?"

"I'll tell you what. They are one player away from being relevant," Zo responded.

"Yeah, and who is that player? It's a quarterback," said Beetle.

Kyle Orton, Buffalo's starter for the majority of last season, is now retired, leaving the Bills without a quarterback.

Oh wait!

Wonder if this changes Zolak and Beetle's minds?

Never change, Buffalo. Never change.
