Testimony: Text Messages Deleted From Aaron Hernandez's Phone

BOSTON (CBS) - Aaron Hernandez sent some surprising texts in the days leading up to the murder of Odin Lloyd, the boyfriend of his fiancee's sister.

In court Friday, a representative from Sprint went through phone records, showing deleted texts, between Hernandez and his alleged accomplice, Ernest Wallace.

Almost a week before the murder, he sent a cryptic message to Wallace. "U grab everything out of car...clip and cds and everything".

Wallace answered with a subservient, "Yes Sir".

Two days later, Hernandez sent Wallace a bizarre text. "Love u (expletive) I wanted to kill u but u know I love u..."

The next night, Hernandez and the victim Odin Lloyd, went to a Boston nightclub. Prosecutors say they spent the night with some women at a Franklin apartment Hernandez rented.

The next day, there were texts apparently deleted from Hernandez's phone, but a message to Wallace asks, 'time u gon be back my ninja".

Thirteen hours before the murder, Hernandez was complaining about his fiancee, Shayanna Jenkins. "All yall trying to step out tonight my girl getting on my nerves...aint trying to b stuck wit her all day an nite".

That was hours before a Father's Day outing with Jenkins and others. Hernandez toasted to Father's Day, and talked about marriage.

But while he was at the South Street Cafe in Providence, he sent more texts to Wallace. "Get ur (expletive) up here...Hurry..." Five hours later, Odin Lloyd was shot to death.
