Driver Arrested, Five 'Miraculously' Escape Injury In Norwood Crash
NORWOOD (CBS) – Five people were escaped injury after an allegedly impaired driver flipped his car over a snowbank in Norwood.
Norwood police responded to Nahatan Street near the Westwood town line at 11:30 p.m. Friday.
Though the car went airborne and landed on its roof, police said the five people inside "miraculously" escaped without serious injury.
Police arrested the driver of the car and charged him with operating under the influence of alcohol and negligent operation of a motor vehicle.
"He is lucky to have escaped without harm and without harming others," Norwood police said.
Because the crash occurred late at night, police said there was not much traffic on the road.
