Adam Jones Show Producer Josh Deering Relives The Glory Of Red Sox Truck Day

Truck Day??!!

TRUCK DAY!!

That's the message that Josh Deering delivered on The Adam Jones Show on Thursday night. Deering, the show's producer, was still buzzing from the electric atmosphere outside of Fenway Park for the annual tradition like no other, but he was able to gather himself, collect his thoughts, and share his experience.

Deering started by dropping some knowledge.

"He usually takes three days to get down there [to Fort Myers]," Deering said. "He'll be down there Monday morning."

"What?!" Jones incredulously shouted. "I thought the guy was just wired to a catheter and just drove straight through!"

Deering humblebragged that he's been to about six of the team's Truck Days, a tradition he began for himself during his wild college days.

"It's an electric atmosphere down there, Jones, let me tell you. There's literally dozens of people that show up to this every year, and the crowd is excited to see this truck get loaded," Deering said.

Deering did not attend Truck Day solely as an adoring fan of packing. Nay -- he attended this one as a photojournalist, capturing this all-time video of Red Sox poet laureate Dick Flavin reading his poem.

(Woooooo!)

Jones, Deering and Rich Keefe all praised Flavin for his abilities as a wordsmith, as all were impressed that he was able to include the major topic of the month (snow!) into his poem.

Listen to the recap of Truck Day below, if you can handle the excitement!
