Patriots Pro Shop Stocking Up On Malcolm Butler Jerseys

BOSTON (CBS) -- Malcolm Butler saved the Super Bowl for the Patriots, and is getting a heroes treatment wherever he goes.

Thousands of fans cheered him on at Wednesday's victory parade, and he received a loud ovation at Wednesday night's Celtics game in Boston. Heck, he's even getting a truck from Tom Brady.

Don't be surprised if there's a big rise in children named Malcolm around New England in the near future, and plenty of people will probably get some sort of tattoo to commemorate his game-saving interception against the Seahawks.

Those who wanted to pick up a jersey of the Super Bowl XLIX hero couldn't do so until Wednesday, because the team's pro shop didn't have any No. 21 jerseys printed.

Only the big name players have jerseys printed ahead of time, ready for purchase, and until Sunday night, Butler wasn't really the biggest name on the roster.

But fear not, there should be plenty of Butler jerseys available all over the area very soon. It's just a matter of retailers keeping up with the demand.
