Daily Talker: Are The Olympics The Answer?

It has been a miserable week for commuters in Boston. Two recent snowstorms have made it a tough go around on the roads and on the rails. The MBTA has been hit especially hard.

Earlier this week, T officials told riders to expect delays for days due to the combination of bad weather and aging equipment.

While many have used this as an argument for Boston to not host the Olympics, other say it is actually proof the city needs the Olympics.  The 2024 Games could prove to be the catalyst the city needs to spend money to improve the MBTA.
