Officials: Report Of Drone Spotted Near Logan Airport
BOSTON (CBS) -- Federal officials are investigating a report of a unmanned aircraft seen near Logan Airport Saturday afternoon.
A United Airlines plane that was landing at Logan reported the sighting around 4:20p.m., according to the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). The flight was at an altitude of 7,000 feet, eight miles northeast of the airport, according to the FAA.
