Stallworth: I Was Warned About Tom Brady's Headbutts

BOSTON (CBS) - Former Patriots wide receiver Donte Stallworth stopped by Radio Row to chat with Toucher & Rich Friday morning, as part of 98.5 The Sports Hub's continuing coverage of Super Bowl XLIX.

If you've only watched one Patriots game in your life, then you're well aware of how intense quarterback Tom Brady is.

(the FCC is aware too, by the way)

So intense, in fact, that Brady actually chipped Jerod Mayo's tooth before one game, headbutting the linebacker when his chin strap wasn't fully bolted on.

Stallworth has been the recipient of many Tom Brady headbutts, and he told Toucher & Rich about one experience on Friday.

"[Brady] is nuts, I tell people that all the time. Kevin Faulk warned me in 2007. He walked up to me, I think we were in the locker room still before the Jets game, and he tapped me on my leg and said, 'Hey, watch out for Tommy before the game because he's going to headbutt you.' I'm thinking like, why would he tell me that before? I'm trying to get ready for the game.

"So we get out to the game and I'm seeing [Brady] and [Mike] Vrabel headbutting each other like they're in the WWF or WWE. I'm like, this guy is nuts. This guy is insane. So he walks over to me and I'm like oh [crap]. So he headbutts me, and I'm like oh man; this guy. He is one of the most laid back guys off the field, but on the field he is a fiery, competitive guy."

Stallworth also talked about the undefeated season, how fire alarms went off in the hotel during that week too and much more.
